Samsung Mobiles has announced new Bada 2.0 phones Samsung Wave 3, Samsung Wave Y and Samsung Wave M. They launched Bada 2.0 SDK recently that brings new features that include multi tasking, Wi-FI Direct, HTML 5 support, voice recognition and Near field Communication.
Samsung Wave Y is an entry level phone in Bada OS trio with touchscreen and 3G connectivity.
Samsung Wave Y price in India is yet not disclosed by the company.
Samsung Wave Y Features 832MHz CPU, the processor increases the speed of the different processes of phone. Samsung Wave Y has a 3.2” TFT LED touch screen with HVGA resolution. Camera of Samsung Wave Y is of 2MP FF with LED Flash and it is capable of recording HVGA videos @30fps.
Samsung Wave Y has an internal memory of 150 MB for storage of phone book and call details and an external memory or expandable memory of 32 GB which is used for storing photos, video and data. Samsung Wave Y has metallic body with a weight of 102.4 grams and it will be powered by 1,200mAh battery. It also has a ChatON function, this is Samsungs proprietary mobile communication service that works across all major mobile devices.
Samsung Wave Y specifications includes Social Hub, Integrated Messaging as E-Mail, IM, SNS, Calendar Sync or Contacts, Music Hub, A-GPS. Samsung Wave Y has Bluetooth v 3.0 USB 2.0 and HS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct for connectivity. With the help of these features it can connect with other devices having bluetooth or Wi-Fi and they can easily transfer information with each other. Bluetooth searches a devices or can connect to those devices which are in range of 10M. The other two phones-Samsung Wave 3 has 5 MP camera and Samsung Wave M has 2 MP camera. The three phones has lots of common feature like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Accelerometer, proximity sensor, ChatON and many more.
